Noura’s Patisserie
From eleven reviews and a silent phone to twenty WhatsApp orders a day.
Where they started
A strong local reputation built entirely on walk-ins and word of mouth. Eleven Google reviews, a profile with the wrong opening hours, no website, and every custom cake enquiry handled by the owner personally over WhatsApp — often at midnight, often too late.
What we did
- Rebuilt the Google Business Profile — categories, services, products with prices, bilingual description, correct hours including Ramadan timings.
- Switched on the review engine: a one-tap request sent two days after collection, in the customer’s language.
- Built the WhatsApp catalogue and automated order flow — greeting, qualifier, deposit link, confirmation, day-before reminder.
- Launched a one-page ordering site to give the profile somewhere to send traffic.
What happened
Reviews went from 11 to 51 inside the first month, all from genuine customers. By week six the WhatsApp flow was handling around twenty orders a day without the owner typing a reply, and the Maps profile had moved into the top three for her area’s main terms.
What was harder than expected: the bilingual flow took two rounds to get right. The first version asked for the language too late, so customers had already typed in Arabic by the time it offered. Moved to the greeting and the drop-off disappeared.
“Within six weeks we had forty-odd new Google reviews and WhatsApp was bringing in twenty orders a day I never used to get. I went from barely surviving to turning people away.”
