We only work with bakeries. That is the whole strategy.
It sounds like a marketing line. It is actually an operational decision, and it is the reason we can build a working site in seven days and tell you in ten minutes whether your Google listing is the problem.
Generalists charge you for the learning curve
A general agency taking on a bakery spends the first two months discovering things we already know. That discovery is billed to you, at full rate, and most of what they conclude will be slightly wrong anyway.
They will not know that the Mother's Day content needs to be indexed by late February, that the custom cake enquiry has nine variables and a form with three fields will not capture it, that in Dubai the order lives on WhatsApp and a checkout is friction, or that a bakery's Google Business Profile is worth more than its website in the first ninety days.
We know those things because every client we have had the same shape of problem. So the templates exist, the scripts exist, the seasonal calendar exists, and we start on week one at the point a generalist reaches in month three.
The trade-off, stated honestly: if you also run a restaurant, a coffee roastery or a catering arm, we are a worse fit than a generalist for those parts of your business. We will say so rather than stretch.
Five things we hold to
We say no
To restaurants, gyms and accountants, and to bakeries where we would be taking money for something that will not work. The second one is harder and matters more.
We tell you the bad month
Reports that are always good news are not reports. If rankings slipped or a campaign underperformed, that is the first line, with what we are changing.
We write in English
Not “omnichannel attribution”. Not “synergies”. If a sentence in your report needs a glossary, we wrote it badly.
You own everything
Domain, site files, ad account, pixel, Google profile, content. In your name from day one, so leaving costs you nothing but the notice period.
We give the method away
The guides contain the actual playbooks, free, no email gate. Bakeries that follow them and never hire us are a good outcome.
We stay small
Three cities, a limited number of bakeries at a time. Growth beyond that would mean juniors learning on your account, which is the thing we exist to avoid.
Dubai, London and Melbourne
Three markets, deliberately. Local search is local, and pretending otherwise is how agencies end up giving Dubai advice to a bakery in Hackney.
Dubai & the UAE
WhatsApp-first ordering, bilingual search behaviour, Ramadan and Eid demand spikes that dwarf anything in the other two markets, and delivery expectations that are genuinely unlike anywhere else.
Bakery marketing in Dubai →London & the UK
The most competitive of the three by a distance. Which is precisely why borough and neighbourhood targeting beats city-wide ambition, and why review volume is the main lever.
Bakery marketing in London →Melbourne & Australia
A city with genuine pastry literacy and unusually high expectations. Discovery splits almost evenly between Google Maps and Instagram, so neither can be neglected.
Bakery marketing in Melbourne →Who we are not for
Bakeries whose product is not ready. Marketing accelerates whatever is already true. If the cakes are inconsistent, more visibility produces more bad reviews, faster. Fix the kitchen first; we will still be here.
Anyone who wants guaranteed rankings. Nobody controls Google. An agency promising a position is either lying or planning to rank you for a term nobody searches.
Businesses outside our three cities, usually. The value we add is local knowledge, and we do not have it everywhere. Ask anyway — sometimes a build-only engagement makes sense regardless of where you are.
Anyone looking for the cheapest option. We are not it, and the cheapest option in this industry is almost always a template site and an automated review tool that will get your listing suspended.
